Kids lean in. It happens slowly — during homework, a game, a video — and by the time you notice it is already a habit. EyeShield watches how far your child’s face is from the screen, and speaks up before it becomes one.

You pick the distance. Everything else happens on its own.
No lectures, no lockouts, nothing for anyone to remember.
The front camera works out how far your child’s face is from the screen, several times a second, using the age you set during setup.
Too close and their buddy squints, with a gentle tone and a buzz. A grace period means a moment’s wobble is never an alarm.
Good sessions earn stars, streaks and badges — so sitting back is worth doing, not something to be told off about.
Screen time, alerts and a daily score for every day — with a plain-English note on what actually changed.

Stars for every good session, streaks that build, badges that unlock. A character a child likes will change a habit; an app that tells them off will not.

A six-year-old’s face is not an adult’s, so the maths differs. Set the age once and the measurement tunes itself.
Settings stay yours. A four-digit PIN keeps the limit and the alert from being quietly turned off.
Keeps measuring while they use other apps, with an ongoing notification the whole time it is on.
Real screens, straight from the app.

Frames are analysed on the device, in real time, and are never recorded, saved or uploaded — not to us, not to anyone.

The same app costs a fraction in India or Nigeria of what it does in the US or the UK, because a subscription should cost what it is worth locally.
Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.

Yes. Setup ends with a free 3-minute demo — no account needed — so you can see the alert work before you decide. Every plan then starts with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
No. Frames are analysed on the phone as they arrive and discarded immediately. Nothing is written to storage and nothing is uploaded — only the distance measurement is used, and that is a number, not an image.
It is worked out from the apparent width of your child’s face against a reference for their age, which you set during setup. Accurate enough to tell a healthy arm’s length from a screen held at the nose — which is what the habit is about. It is not a medical instrument.
It uses the front camera at a low frame rate, only while a session is running, and stops entirely when you stop it. A notification shows the whole time it is on, so it can never run without you knowing.
Monitoring and the data screens stop, and your history stays on the device. Resubscribe and everything is where you left it. Cancel any time in the Play Store — the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
